Adult Religious Education at
Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Lauderdale (UUCFL)

Teacher, date, time, and meeting room vary according to group.
 
 
Adult religious education programs are scheduled throughout the year. Our minister and church members present enriching classes on areas of interest to our liberal religious community. Some past, present, and future offerings include:
  • Unitarian Universalist Faith class for prospective members includes the history of the Unitarian Universalist faith, belief options, worship traditions, seven principles, questions and answers

  • World Religions class combines talks by practitioners of these faiths, lecture, and reading materials

  • Cinema Nirvana movie nights consist of viewing popular films and discussing their spiritual elements

  • Evensong sessions involve respectful sharing of thoughts, experiences, emotions, doubts, beliefs, and personal truths on topics such as community, humanity, mortality, ministry, beliefs, and divinity

  • Cakes for the Queen of Heaven is a feminist theology workshop
