Bylaws -- Kip Barkley
|
Be self sustaining:
- Decrease community praise of low giving
- Honor lead donors separate from solicitations
- Build a wish list in $100-$1000 range of stuff we need
Increase volunteers by providing engaging projects and activities:
- Amend bylaws when they don't match how we do things
- Offer thanks to volunteers
- Extend personal invitations with boundaries in time
Learn how we can grow within a large liberal population:
- Seek to guests and new members
- Stop poor mouthing and Christian barking
- Do more in the large community
Revise the mission statement:
- Keep it short and sweet
- Short enough to memorize
- Recite it at services and meetings

Choir -- David Fisher
|
Be self sustaining:
- Recruit (Endowment?) funds for expanding scope of music offerings (half-time director at fair compensation rate)
- Fund for semi-annual tuning of both pianos
Increase volunteers by providing engaging projects and activities:
- Start a chime choir for all ages (Equipment = $1,000)
- Start a bell choir for all ages (Equipment = $10,000)
Learn how we can grow within a large liberal population:
- Encourage staff choir members to attend UU Musicians Network annual conference (in August each year)
Revise the mission statement:
- Add a "bullet point" for engaging drummer, keyboard, etc. for contemporary music

Interweave -- Ken Beier
|
Increase volunteers by providing engaging projects and activities:
- Identify community needs or events in which Interweave can be engaged (e.g., Pride Day, and and lesbian spirituality and health issues).
Learn how we can grow within a large liberal population:
- See previous bullet. Participation in community events gives UUCFL exposure and provides a sense of meaning to those participating
