Rental Spaces
Location
Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Lauderdale (UUCFL)! Nestled on almost four acres of beautifully landscaped property, our lovely church is in a quiet residential section. At the heart of Oakland Park, we are also near Fort Lauderdale & I-95, convenient for almost everyone in the area.

Accommodations
UUCFL has meetings spaces available for rent by church members and the greater community. With rooms ranging from 150 to 2,500 sq. ft., we can accommodate groups of eight to 250 people. All indoor spaces are carpeted, smoke-free, climate-controlled, and accessible. We have headsets for the hearing-impaired and handicapped parking.

Prices and Durations
By providing attractive and reasonably priced space, we can help make your event a success. We offer one-time and short-term rentals as well as long-term, cost-share rentals. If you are searching for a new home for your religious assembly, school or day care business, we offer longer-term rentals with special rates based on overall requirements.

Features
In our church, we welcome people of all faiths to celebrate in their own traditions. Some of the other features of our church include:
  • Beautiful and spacious sanctuary with vaulted ceilings and raised stages

  • Professional sound system with recording capability

  • Small kitchen

  • Covered patio amidst our lush, lovely gardens

  • Stone-lined labyrinth for meditations and ceremonies

  • Ample off-street parking, including handicapped spaces

  • Complimentary use of our tables and chairs

You may bring in an outside officiant and workers for your event. Alternatively, you may hire staff and members of UUCFL in the following capacities: Minister - Florist - Caterer - Servers - Musicians - DJ - Sound Techs - Clean Up Crew.

Jack & Thelma Daniel Library

This cozy space stocked with spiritual, philosophical, and political books looks out on our lush tropical gardens. It is suitable for small discussion, support, and hobby groups.

Maximum capacity: Seats about 10

Multi=Purpose Room

Gertie Bell Multi-Purpose Room

This room works well for small- to mid-sized meetings, seminars, lectures, classes, workshops, yoga and meditation groups, discussion and support groups.

Maximum capacity: Seats about 40

Classroom 5/7

Together, these rooms work well for mid- to large-sized meetings, seminars, lectures, classes, workshops, yoga and meditation groups, discussion and support groups.

Amidst our beautiful gardens and an easy walk from our labyrinth, this spot is wonderful for outdoor ceremonies, receptions, parties, and cookouts.

Labyrinth

Labyrinth

An easy walk from our covered patio, this is the perfect place for outdoor meditations and ceremonies such as weddings, holy unions, and handfastings.

Special Features:

  • Seven-circuit Celtic square labyrinth

  • Paths outlined with coral rocks

  • For night-time events, paths can be illuminated with strings of electrical lights or luminary sandbag candles

  • Electric lights and torch holders in the lawn
