Barricade Tape and Christmas Lights Labyrinth

First we lay out the 6" stakes until we are satisfied with the shape and positioning of our labyrinth. We allow extra space at the center, because we are usually setting up for a large group. See how to lay out the classic seven-circuit labyrinth. We have found that a square shape requires fewer stakes than a round labyrinth and it is faster to construct.

We then need two 450-foot lengths of tape. We start at one beginning point and wrap the tape around the stakes until we reach the other end. The whole setup takes less than two hours, the second time you do it.

We then might stretch "Christmas Tree", or Yule, lights along the tapes. Since the lights are available in pre-determined lengths, and only so many strings may be plugged into another, same planning is necessary. We start at each of the four "end points", come towards the cross, and connect all lines to power cords at the front. It does help if you, like , are a rocket scientist.
